We recently conducted a survey to find out what factors our brides took into account when choosing their wedding venue.

Are you surprised to hear that 72.2% of the brides surveyed had never attended a wedding reception at their chosen wedding venue?

So what was there reason for choosing this wedding venue if they had never first handedly experienced the fine dining and wedding experience at this wedding hotel.  Well here are some of the factors that our brides reported had attracted them to their wedding venue, the fact that the wedding hotel hosts only one wedding per day, the price and value for money offered by this hotel, the clean and bright function room, a traditional function room, the location of the wedding venue, the setting of the wedding reception venue, the layout of the function room.

Topping the polls was no doubt the location of the wedding venue and the price.  In the current economic climate brides are now more price sensitive and as a result many wedding venues are now offering all inclusive wedding packages and wedding discounts to attract the brides.

It was also interesting to hear that 66.7% of the brides surveyed had never attended a wedding fayre at their chosen wedding venue reception.

Other factors that our brides reported to have influenced them when making their decision on their choice of wedding venue included the manager at the wedding hotel, friendly and efficient staff, the food and menu selection, the look of the hotel, the layout of the bar, the amazing gardens, great wedding package, the breath taking views, the atmosphere at the hotel, the exclusivity and personal feeling the wedding venue offered, the sales pitch by the wedding co-ordinator, the waterfall, the colour and decor of the function room.  This list is endless.
